Though he was born lame and fatherless, the destiny of Hephaestus would soon take a turn for the better. Like all self made men, Hephaestus toiled long hours to perfect his skills and talents so that he would command respect; All those lonely hours eventually paid of ..... all the deities were unanimous that his weapons wear the best and his jewelry designs the most stunning every seen (and, boy, were those new things invented, the golden robots who did housework a best seller!)
